About the role

• Engineering Technician supporting ADF Ground Support Equipment in Adelaide, maintaining technical integrity and engaging with Defence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and maintenance activities for Ground Support Equipment assets and repairable items, ensuring technical integrity as changes are made to maintenance regimes, parts, and publications.
• Contribute to sustaining the fleet by applying your technical knowledge to investigations, assessments, and solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders across Defence and industry.
• Work closely with technical specialists and leaders to help deliver innovative engineering outcomes and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Provide support through our Service Desk rotation.
• Develop skills across the engineering lifecycle, contribute to process improvements, and play a part in strengthening Australia’s Defence capability.

Requirements

• Australian Citizen with a current Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
• Technical vocational qualification/certificate in related discipline.
• Previous experience in relatable technical/engineering roles.
• An understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software).
• An understanding of Maintenance Requirements Determination and Logistics Support Analysis preferably in the Defence environment.
