About the role

• Senior IT Systemarchitekt responsible for critical IT and OT infrastructures at Axpo Systems AG. Collaborating on architecture strategies and leading technical projects in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine sustainable architecture strategies with consideration for future‑proof technologies.
• Design complex system landscapes and integrate them into existing operational processes.
• Develop solution designs and provide technical leadership during implementation in cross‑functional project teams.
• Apply and evolve architecture standards and continuously optimize infrastructure and system architecture.
• Advise and provide technical support to engineering and operations teams in implementing solution concepts.

Requirements

• Several years of experience designing and implementing business‑critical IT infrastructures.
• Holistic understanding of IT and OT architectures and their functional separation.
• Proven leadership experience in technical projects.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both specialist and management audiences.
• Experience working with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
• University degree (Bachelor, Master or higher) in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent German language skills (at least C1) in spoken and written form.
