About the role
- Senior Consultant managing SAP S/4HANA Finance projects for customers. Creating and implementing financial strategies based on customer needs.
Responsibilities
- In your role as Senior Consultant, you take responsibility for our exciting customer projects with a focus on Finance / Controlling in the area of SAP S/4HANA (Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private)
- You advance new technologies in Finance / Controlling for our clients (Cloud ERP, Fiori, Central Finance)
- You support customers in the transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, including migration of FI/CO data and processes
- You are at the center of the project lifecycle, accompanying the entire cycle from developing an S/4HANA roadmap to implementation projects (planning and design through testing and go-live)
- You are responsible for effective, on-time and on-budget project delivery based on the SAP Activate project methodology
- Independent work and taking ownership for the success of our customer projects are a matter of course for you
- You develop a joint Finance and Controlling strategy by understanding our clients’ needs and applying your SAP expertise
- Together with our clients you develop and document process and system solution concepts.
Requirements
- You hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or a related field — vocational IT training or relevant professional experience is also welcome
- You bring several years of experience in Finance/Controlling and related modules; knowledge of Customizing is desirable
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA and Cloud ERP / Cloud ERP Private projects as well as in pre-project phases (e.g. Fit-Gap workshops)
- You have excellent knowledge of business processes in accounting and controlling
- You work independently, are goal-oriented and hands-on; you think analytically, conceptually and creatively
- You demonstrate strong communication and moderation skills, team spirit, assertiveness and an entrepreneurial mindset
- You are service-oriented, fluent in German and English, and willing to travel.
