About the role

• Consultant for digitalization of accounting in municipal administrations, providing training and process optimization. Collaborating with teams and clients to enhance public sector financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Digitalization of accounting for district, city and municipal administrations as well as churches, working together with your project team
• Advising and supporting our clients in the areas of financial accounting, fixed-asset accounting and budget planning
• Training and onboarding of users in new projects and for existing clients
• Analyzing and optimizing processes related to our financial software and adjacent specialist departments
• Process and organizational consulting in close collaboration with our clients and partners

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in business informatics, public administration, economics, vocational training as an administrative specialist, or further training as an IHK-certified financial accountant
• Desirable: knowledge of financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable), fixed-asset accounting, and budget planning
• Initial experience in the municipal/public sector is an advantage
• Passion for IT and enthusiasm for consulting
• Flexibility and willingness to travel regionally (Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, North Rhine-Westphalia)
