About the role

  • HR AI Solution Specialist designing and implementing AI solutions for HR processes globally at Avnet. Focused on user adoption, performance optimization, and continuous enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test and implement AI solutions for HR globally.
  • Ensure quality, structure, and accuracy across HR AI solutions, including version control and standards.
  • Coordinate with GIS and HRIS on complex integrations.
  • Develop, test, and maintain prompts and AI agents for HR business cases.
  • Administer AI tools and agents: configurations, permissions, and environments.
  • Ensure stable operation and scalability; coordinate with HRIS and GIS for maintenance, upgrades, and incident resolution.
  • Manage vendor or technical escalations as needed.
  • Managing AI‑specific data and document structures so that the sources powering AI tools are reliable and fit for purpose.
  • Initiating necessary data and document cleansing activities with the appropriate owners.
  • Provide 1st/2nd‑level functional support for HR AI solutions. Deliver training, enablement, and best‑practice guidance.
  • Capture feedback and prioritize enhancements and new business cases with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance to AI governance, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track usage, accuracy, KPIs, and user satisfaction; conduct periodic quality reviews.
  • Optimize performance of AI solutions; recommend continuous improvements.
  • Apply GDPR, secure‑access, and HR data‑protection principles

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in HRIS or other HR/IT hybrid functions
  • Experience in working with AI-enabled tools (e.g., M365 Copilot), low-code/RPA platforms (e.g., Power Automate) and/or HR systems (ideally Workday)
  • Strong understanding of processes, data structures, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR)
  • Basic understanding of APIs and interfaces
  • Ability to translate HR business cases into structured prompts, workflows, or low-code solutions (without requiring programming skills)
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) and ability to collaborate effectively across HR, GIS, Data Protection, and governance bodies
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving capabilities, with a high affinity for digital tools and structured documentation
