About the role

  • Control Electronics Hardware Design Engineer developing automotive ECUs and power supplies at AVL in Turkey. Responsible for hardware design, testing, and project management activities.

Responsibilities

  • Design next generation automotive ECUs (electronic control unit), Inverters and BMS including schematic, simulation, thermal analysis, PCB layout, circuit tolerance, worst-case analysis and signal integrity analysis.
  • Analog design with op-amps, logic gates, analog/digital sensors, signal isolators, transceivers, MCUs, PMICs etc.
  • Design switch mode power supplies (Buck, Boost, SEPIC, Flyback etc.).
  • Define hardware-software and communication interfaces (CAN, LIN etc.), specifying component sourcing activities.
  • Support lab tests, debug and validation activities.
  • Support project and quality management activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related area.
  • Experience with analog and digital hardware design.
  • Experience with analog circuit simulation and analysis using LTspice or similar SPICE software.
  • Experience with Altium Designer or similar PCB design software.
  • Experience with lab equipments and testing.
  • Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English.
