Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data science, actuarial or other analytical roles.
- Cross-functional skills that allow you to straddle the worlds of data scientists, actuaries, engineers & core insurance functions.
- Expert knowledge in price modelling, prerequisites, eg: machine learning, programming, price elasticity, retention and conversion modeling.
- Recognition as a clear subject matter expert in one or more of; pricing, underwriting, claims, predictive modeling, data science, or other insurance functions.
- Excellent coaching skills with examples of successfully developing colleagues.
- The ability to not simply build a great algorithm or solution but also to generate buy-in, excitement and support for the offering.
- Expert knowledge in related fields (statistics, insurance products, computer science).
