About the role

  • Oracle HCM Functional Analyst responsible for supporting and enhancing the Oracle HCM Cloud Time and Labour environment. Collaborating with HR, Payroll, and Operations to ensure accurate time capture and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain T&L components such as Time Entry Profiles, Time Processing Profiles, Time-Consumer Sets, HCM Groups, Time Entry Rules/Rule Sets, Work Schedules & Schedule Assignments, Fast Formulas related to Time & Labor.
  • Support integrations between Time and Labour, Absence Management, Payroll, and third-party time collection devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve T&L issues including time card errors, group membership discrepancies, profile assignments, retroactive changes, and schedule updates.
  • Monitor scheduled processes such as Evaluate Group Membership, Generate Time Cards, Time Calculation, and Time Transfer to Payroll.
  • Ensure retroactive updates and effective-dated changes are processed correctly across Time & Labour and Payroll.
  • Lead or support system enhancements, quarterly updates testing, and new module/functionality rollouts.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
  • Develop and execute test scripts for new features, fixes, enhancements, and Oracle cloud releases.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support to HR, managers, and employees for time card and scheduling issues.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, with at least 2 years dedicated to Time and Labor.
  • Strong understanding of Time & Labor configuration, profiles, HCM Groups, rules, and T&L calculation logic.
  • Experience with effective dating, retroactive processing, and T&L impacts on Payroll.
  • Ability to translate business needs into system design and functional requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with cross functional teams.
  • Preferred Experience with Oracle Absence Management or Payroll Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of Fast Formulas for Time & Labor.
  • Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, or HCM Extracts.
  • Prior involvement in T&L implementations or major system upgrades.
