About the role

  • Senior Account Director managing client services team while providing strategic direction in pharmaceutical advertising. Leading client projects and ensuring effective campaign execution in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Independently maintains relationship with client to strategic support and direction
  • Mentors, manages, and leads client services direct reports
  • Primary contact between the client and internal agency team
  • Understands the clients brand, therapeutic area, and objectives
  • Acts as a bridge between the client and brand/medical education strategy
  • Supervises client services team members
  • Manages day to day client service business
  • Anticipates client needs and makes recommendations
  • Simultaneously handles multiple projects and clients under pressure
  • Works with multiple departments to ensure project quality control
  • Constantly communicates with all departments for project updates
  • Performs necessary administrative tasks
  • Attends meetings for project status updates
  • Up to 25% travel

Requirements

  • 10+ years of agency account management experience
  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical advertising experience
  • Digital background required managing websites
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Deep understanding of the pharma/healthcare advertising industry
  • DAOR experience strongly preferred
  • Experience leading digital marketing initiatives
  • Strong digital omni-channel background
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in managing multiple clients and agency partners
  • Marketing acumen in brand planning, budget development, execution, and measurement
  • Success in developing valued relationships with senior-level clients
  • Strong presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering presentations in PowerPoint
