About the role

  • FinTech Product Owner responsible for tax compliance and digital reporting solutions at AUTODOC. Collaborating across teams to drive operational efficiency in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the strategy and roadmap for finance solutions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and international/local compliance standards
  • Collaborate closely with the business owners to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements
  • Maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog, define user stories, and coordinate the timely delivery of features with development teams
  • Ensure that digital tax reporting solutions comply with local and international regulatory standards and actively support internal and external audit processes and interactions with authorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve or automate reporting generation and declaration filing processes, driving digital transformation within the business function
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external parties, ensuring transparency and effective communication across all phases of product development
  • Monitor solution performance, collect feedback, and drive continuous product improvement in partnership with end users and technical teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven experience 3+ years as a Product Owner or similar role, with a strong focus on financial products or features
  • Solid understanding of financial operations and compliance frameworks
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and legal departments
  • Hands-on experience with Indirect Taxation and Customs Declaration processes (preferred)
  • Exposure to or experience working with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) in a tax reporting context (preferred)
  • Communication & stakeholder management skills
  • Product ownership & backlog management
  • Business analysis & requirements gathering
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Agile methodology & tools (Jira, Confluence, Scrum practices)
  • Knowledge of Tax Reporting and Customs Compliance processes
  • Process mapping and documentation (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts)
  • English C1, Russian B2 (spoken and written)
