About the role

  • Tax Manager overseeing tax compliance and reporting for Greenvolt Group's Portuguese entities. Engaging in tax advisory, litigation management, and process improvements in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the tax affairs of the Group’s Portuguese entities, including CIT, VAT, Stamp Duty, and WHT, ensuring timely and compliant filings and acting as the main point of contact with the local tax authorities.
  • Monitor and coordinate tax compliance activities for Greenvolt Group companies across several geographies.
  • Provide support on tax compliance matters in multiple jurisdictions, including CIT, VAT, WHT and Transfer Pricing-related requirements.
  • Manage and follow up on the Group’s tax litigation and audits, supporting internal teams and external advisors.
  • Coordinate global tax reporting, including Pillar 2, CbCR and other jurisdictional reporting obligations.
  • Identify, propose, and implement improvements to tax processes and controls to ensure efficiency, quality and compliance.
  • Work closely with Finance teams to streamline tax procedures as part of a continuous improvement and automation mindset.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Transfer Pricing models and intra-group policies.
  • Ensure alignment between local GAAP, IFRS and tax requirements in different countries.
  • Manage relationship with external tax advisors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and cost control.
  • Assist in the development of internal tax guidelines and training sessions for the wider Finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Management or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in tax advisory or consultancy, preferably within a Big 4 firm or a recognized law firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge across multiple tax areas (CIT, VAT, and others).
  • Experience with international taxation (highly valued).
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to propose improvements and implement processes.
  • Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
  • High sense of responsibility, integrity and confidentiality.
