About the role

  • Senior Manager of Business Risk leading risk assessment and mitigation at AP+, shaping risk practices and governance. Engaging stakeholders to enhance risk management in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • These roles lead risk assessment and mitigation efforts at a portfolio level, ensuring operational risks are appropriately identified, managed and escalated where required.
  • You will provide guidance to Business Risk Managers, drive consistency of approach across the hub model, and engage senior stakeholders to influence risk maturity and uplift initiatives.
  • The Senior Manager plays a key role in shaping risk practices, strengthening governance, and ensuring the first line of defence operates effectively and cohesively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior role within the first/second line of risk or audit experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, control implementation, and risk mitigation within a complex organizational environment.
  • Technology risk experience highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and the confidence to liaise with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
