About the role

  • Student trainee supporting the development of accounting software for over 600 banks. Engaging in application enhancements, quality assurance, and customer support roles in a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • You will support us in developing our application agree21Finanzen-Jahresabschluss — the year-end financial statements application used by over 600 banks that report under the German Commercial Code (HGB) — and help make it future-proof from a business perspective.
  • You will help adapt the application's functionality to the requirements of legislators and our customers.
  • You enjoy testing our enhancements and contributing to high-quality assurance.
  • You prepare and follow up on customer meetings and assist with coordinating scheduled customer sessions.
  • You answer questions from banks and support our customers in preparing their year-end financial statements.

Requirements

  • You are enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration or Business Informatics, ideally with a focus on Accounting/Financial Reporting, or you have completed training as a bank clerk or as a certified tax specialist.
  • You have a basic understanding of a bank’s business model as well as bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • You are proficient in MS Office products.
  • You are process-oriented, work independently, and are goal-focused.
