Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology; postgraduate qualification in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience (or equivalent expertise).
  • Professional Engineering License (P.Eng) in Ontario or eligibility to obtain.
  • Proven experience in rock mechanics design and rock mass characterization.
  • A focused expertise on rock mechanics and rock engineering projects dealing with rock face stability, tunneling and underground excavations in rock, foundations, and rockfall hazards.
  • Expertise in sectors such as highways, rail, municipal, industrial, commercial, or residential geotechnics.
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
