About the role

  • Designer creating user journeys and experiences for GovWallet Suite at Assurity Trusted Solutions. Collaborating with a team to enhance digital services for government agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-functional teamwork (20%): You’ll work closely with non-designers (such as software engineers) who bring your work to life
  • Stakeholder engagement (10%): Consult stakeholders to understand their goals and use your special ability of user-centricity to improve government digital services
  • Design research (10%): Drive user research activities (e.g. user interviews, usability testing) and translate research findings into actionable recommendations
  • Design system (15%): Plan, implement and promote design components and templates to ensure a consistent WOG experience that is simple yet scalable
  • Design solutioning (35%): Develop and iterate on ideas (e.g. user flows, wireframes, prototypes) using industry tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and even AI tools).
  • User testing (5%): Validate design decisions through usability testing and feedback loops to ensure the product is functional, usable and delightful
  • Cross-product collaboration (5%): Collaborate with other teams when problem spaces require a mix of platform products to come together to form an end-to-end solution

Requirements

  • Have experience building Platform products meant for users to self-serve
  • 4 years of relevant design experience
