About the role
- Director of Radiology Services managing imaging services at UW Health facilities in Wisconsin. Leading operational improvements in complex radiology environments while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Be an operational imaging leader with deep experience in X-ray (IP/OP), IR and Breast Imaging
- Have a proven track record in process improvement, access optimization, and efficiency gains in a complex, matrixed health system
- Challenge the status quo, lead by example and build leader capability
- Be skilled in capital planning, operating budgets and business planning for new initiatives and equipment
- Drive engagement, standardize operations and accelerate results
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject area such as Business Administration, Health Care Management, Nursing or related field Required
- Master's Degree or progress towards a master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field Preferred
- Three to five years relevant experience in the management of ambulatory services, Radiology services and/or programs Required
- Has held administrative position in a large academic or complex health program that included Radiology and Nuclear Medicine services Preferred
- Experience in financial and programmatic presentations Required
- Certification by an appropriate Radiology/Medical Imaging body through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Preferred
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) Preferred
