About the role

  • Research Scholar contributing to Canada-Asia trade and investment research within APF Canada. Supporting data collection and developing skills in policy research, writing, and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to research and programming on Canada-Asia trade and investment relations
  • Provide support to APF Canada Investment Monitor project’s data collection and management
  • Develop skills in policy research, writing, and analysis
  • Assist in organizing events, dialogues, and other program co-ordination tasks.

Requirements

  • Interest and experience in trade and investment
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills
  • Experience in data collection, statistical analysis, and data visualization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (including strong MS Excel skills)
  • M.A. (or equivalent) in Political Science, International Political Economy, International Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative skills, ability to adapt, innovate, and work in a fast-paced environment.
