About the role
- Senior Finance Analyst driving Bad Cost for French market at international company Kellanova. Collaborating with sales and finance teams, ensuring financial compliance and strategic decision making.
Responsibilities
- Manage the 'Bad Cost' area for the French market – oversee customer disputes, financial credit notes, billing errors, and any applicable logistics penalties.
- Ensure monthly control of these costs and their correct presentation in our account statements.
- Business partnering – act as the finance partner to the Sales teams, providing visibility into commercial investments and client-level profitability, both actual and forecasted.
- Financial monitoring of commercial discounts – organize financial controls related to all commercial discounts in France, ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and proper integration into IT systems.
- Contribute to financial closings and forecasts – participate in monthly closings, variance analyses, and preparation of forecasts and the annual budget.
- Support internal and external audits – carry out required controls and audits with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Holds a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance or Management Control.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in commercial management control / sales finance, auditing, and strong accounting knowledge, ideally within FMCG.
- Experience in an internal audit / SOX / US GAAP environment (preferred).
- Strong Excel skills and experience with an ERP such as SAP; comfortable with financial modeling.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
