About the role

  • Responsable de Boutique leading a team in retail operations for Aroma-Zone. Ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving store objectives in Lyon.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all store activities to ensure customer satisfaction and the achievement of commercial targets
  • Lead your sales, cash desk, stock and workshop teams (motivation, organization, communication, vision, sharing objectives and results, etc.)
  • Be responsible for the quality of customer reception, services and advice to guarantee customer satisfaction (strong on‑floor presence, versatility)
  • Produce activity reports and analyses and propose continuous improvement initiatives
  • Optimize schedules while respecting allocated budgets
  • Ensure staff training on best practices for customer reception, consultation and sales, product knowledge and protocols, and conduct regular audits to ensure protocol compliance
  • Oversee supply management with a “zero out‑of‑stock” goal by ensuring efficient stock organization and shelf replenishment; organize and lead inventory counts to minimize shrinkage
  • Monitor cash registers and the accuracy of bank deposits, and report information to accounting
  • Ensure proper organization and execution of store opening and closing procedures
  • Coordinate external service providers (technical maintenance, premises and equipment upkeep, security, etc.) to ensure compliance and safety of the premises
  • Responsible for store presentation and exterior areas: representing the company's image (cleanliness, merchandising setup, optimizing customer flow, etc.)

Requirements

  • Business or commercial education
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in team management in the retail sector
  • Knowledge of cosmetics and/or organic products is an asset
  • Strong understanding of retail operations: customer advising, reporting, KPIs, stock management
  • Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office) and POS systems (ideally Cegid)
  • Good level of English
  • Personal qualities: dynamic, versatile, exemplary, and committed to high standards
  • Managerial qualities: leadership, coaching, communication, providing feedback and team spirit
  • Strong organizational, analytical and synthesis skills
