About the role

  • Ensure the store’s operational organization and daily follow-up
  • Lead and manage store activities in collaboration with the Store Manager
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction and maintain a strong on-floor presence
  • Oversee sales processing and cash handling operations with the team
  • Maintain the overall presentation and upkeep of the store
  • Lead, organize and motivate the teams
  • Provide ongoing training for staff
  • Ensure compliance with and monitoring of procedures
  • Manage the team in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Ensure operational organization and follow-up from store opening to closing
  • Ensure proper opening and closing of tills/registers

Requirements

  • Commercial/business education
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a high-traffic retail store
  • Knowledge of cosmetic and/or organic products is an asset
  • Excellent written and spoken French
  • Good spoken English
  • Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office) and POS systems (ideally Cegid)
  • Hands-on attitude, strong customer service and commercial sense
  • Ability to manage high-traffic periods and stressful situations
  • Excellent customer relations and service orientation
  • Team player, autonomous, diplomatic, able to manage priorities
  • Versatile, dynamic, business-oriented
