About the role
- AVP for Strategic Analytics leading a team in advanced analytics projects for Arch Capital Group. Collaborating with business leaders to design solutions and improve decision making.
Responsibilities
- Build strong partnerships and engage with senior business leaders to design best-in-class analytics solutions to support their strategic objectives.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams and share ideas to solve complex business problems.
- Lead initiatives that automate manual or inefficient business processes, increasing underwriter and partner productivity using GenAI and prompt engineering.
- Build strong partnerships with peers across the organization to support project goals and broader team needs.
- Guide the development of powerful insights and tools using a variety of analytical techniques and technologies.
- Work with stakeholders to implement sophisticated analytics models in existing workflows and systems.
- Work collaboratively with business partners to develop business rules, to facilitate model-based actions.
- Monitor model adoption and effectiveness of business rules; facilitate revision to business rules as necessary.
- Lead discussions with executive management team about Strategic Analytics projects.
- Support, mentor and develop the growing Strategic Analytics team on holistic, business aspects of projects.
