Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist & Process Analyst with a business administration focus, you act as the interface between Controlling, IT and the business units — with a clear focus on process analysis, target process design, automation and control-relevant analytics.
You combine process knowledge, controlling expertise, data analysis and project experience.
Process analysis and documentation: capture of as-is processes, modeling of to-be processes (e.g. in BPMN 2.0), clarification of roles/tasks and clear acceptance criteria for the business units.
Alignment with standards — with a view to cost-effectiveness, maintainability and compliance.
Automation: implementation of internal system workflows and process automation.
Controlling analytics and reporting: co-development of robust data models and Power BI reports (including DAX).
Data and master data quality: rules, responsibilities, validation mechanisms and ensuring traceability of data lineage.
Participation in projects: e.g. aligning processes with business units and preparing concepts to enable end users.
Requirements
Completed degree in Business Informatics, Data Science or a comparable program with a basic understanding of business administration
Initial practical experience in controlling (management accounting) or data analysis is desirable
Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Python and Excel; ideally some first experience with process automation
Confident user of MS Office
Strong analytical skills
Structured and independent working style
Very good German language skills
