About the role

  • Experienced Procurement Technician supporting US Federal Government procurement processes. Processing purchase requests and invoices while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase requests, invoices, and payment documentation in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific policies.
  • Support contract administration tasks, including tracking obligations, monitoring funding status, and reconciliation of discrepancies in financial records.
  • Utilization of the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) including navigating procurement, invoice processing, and reporting modules; entering and validating data, and generating standard and ad-hoc reports.
  • Use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word for document preparation, Excel for data analysis and pivot tables, and Outlook for professional correspondence and calendar management.
  • Provide high-volume, accurate, and rapid data entry while maintaining attention to detail in alphanumeric and financial data fields.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience in US Government procurement support
  • Experience with the US Government Financial and Business Management System (FBMS)
  • Expertise using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to type 50 words per minute
  • Min. Citizenship Status Required: U.S Citizenship.
