Responsibilities
- Engage in full-stack development by implementing new features, optimizing performance, fixing bugs, and refactoring code for Arcadis’ software products.
- Design, develop, unit test, document, and maintain applications and services across a variety of clients around the world.
- Do technical design and code review for new features and product improvements.
- Build software services and algorithms that integrate with external data sources to manipulate, analyze, and process geospatial data.
- Leverage cloud services provided by Azure or AWS to host and deliver services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and supporting customer-facing production systems.
- Proficiency with web development including HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS, and web debugging tools.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design and development using .NET and C#.
- Experience with SQL database queries, optimization, and design.
- Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, dynamic team setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A desire to write quality code, follow best practices, and continuously improve.
