About the role
- Project Controller responsible for financial oversight and operational success in project management at Arcadis. Collaborating with project managers to monitor financial performance and risks.
Responsibilities
- Conducting monthly project reviews, critically assessing progress, and ensuring alignment with budgets, forecasts and financial KPIs.
- Monitoring of projects (Profitability and DRO), timely invoicing, collection and accurate financial administration in the ERP system (Oracle).
- Proactively identifying, analyzing and resolving risks in the field of budget, quality, forecasting and planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to project and advisory group managers and contribute to strategic decisions.
- As a key user of Oracle, contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
- Collaborating with business controllers for ad-hoc analyses and monthly reports and explaining performance differences.
Requirements
- A completed BS education in a financial/business or economic direction.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in project control.
- Experience in advising and monitoring large projects or programs.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and knowledge of Oracle is an advantage.
