About the role

Responsibilities
- Creation of Design Guidelines including maps, and house style graphics.
- Reviewing of house applications in relation to the guidelines and standards of the development within a web-based platform.
- Correspondence with builders and some homeowners.
- Physical site inspections on the exterior of homes (homes and landscapes).
- Prepare inspection reports.
- Get involved in other projects in the office on an as-required basis
Requirements
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or Landscape Architectural Technology or a related discipline – related industry experience would be considered
- Strong interest in house design and land development
- Experience with house exterior design would be an asset
- Good design sense with creative problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
- Strong computer skills in MS office, Adobe, etc. and web-based applications – proficiency in CAD is an asset, but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills and interest in dealing with a diverse range of clients, including homebuilders and homeowners
- Good organizational and time management skills
