About the role
- Senior Data Scientist joining justtrack, a SaaS provider for app and game publishers. Collaborate with analysts and developers to leverage data assets for marketing insights.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of our data science tech stack by looking for innovative opportunities and steering the implementation by our development team
- Hand in hand with our developers you transform recurring analyses into metrics, charts, business related messages and the underlying data storage and pipelines
- You will work on ML models to notify our users about detected trends and statistical outliers in real-time
- You extract knowledge and actionable insights from noisy, structured and unstructured data
- You perform exploratory data analysis to determine correlations and trends
- You drill into data from various sources (Redshift, Spark, SQL, Athena, S3, Druid event streams, AWS data pipeline)
Requirements
- You have 5+ years of experience in applying Data Science, ML and time series analysis in real-life tasks where the projects had measurable business value
- You have a Master’s degree in Data Science/Applied Mathematics or a related field
- Expert knowledge of Python, SQL, ML frameworks like scikit-learn and know the AWS tech stack well
- You have an entrepreneurial and hacker mindset, when there is a tough problem it motivates you to drill deeper
- You easily switch between move-fast- and no-margin-for-error-modes
- You are able to dive deep into math and explain complex topics in an easy way
