About the role
- Data Architect responsible for designing and maintaining data architecture at Uriage & Apivita. Leading data management efforts to support analytics and ensure high-quality data flows across systems.
Responsibilities
- Designs and maintains enterprise‑level data models that support analytics, BI, and reporting.
- Defines data architecture standards, best practices, and canonical models.
- Oversees data warehouse, data lake, or lakehouse environments and supports ETL/ELT, API integrations, and real‑time pipelines.
- Implements data governance frameworks including lineage, cataloging, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Translates business data needs into technical requirements and collaborates with cross‑functional teams.
- Supports BI teams with optimized data structures for dashboards, KPIs and self-service analytics.
- Evaluates and introduces modern data tools and leads platform modernization (cloud, real‑time analytics, metadata automation).
- Optimizes data platform performance, security, cost, and scalability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of previous experience in data architecture or data engineering
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Advanced SQL and experience with major databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP)
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (ADF, Databricks, SSIS, Airflow), APIs and data formats (JSON, XML, Parquet)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI)
- Understanding of data governance tools (Purview, Collibra, Alation)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
