Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of major Gas Powered Generation projects, ensuring scope, budget, safety, and schedule outcomes are achieved
- Provide strategic direction, oversight, and governance across all GPG project stages, from concept development to commissioning
- Manage and influence cross-functional project teams, engineering partners, contractors, and key external stakeholders
- Oversee project risk management, compliance, and regulatory approvals for GPG facilities and associated infrastructure
- Champion safety, quality, and environmental performance across all project activities
- Provide clear and timely reporting to senior leadership, including project performance, risks, and strategic outcomes
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading large-scale infrastructure or energy generation projects, ideally across gas, coal, hydro or hydrogen
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and direct multidisciplinary project teams and external partners
- Demonstrated expertise in project governance, risk management, regulatory engagement, and commercial oversight
- Proven success delivering complex projects safely, on time, and within budget in a highly regulated environment
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing executives, regulators, and industry partners
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related field (postgraduate qualifications desirable)
