About the role

  • Lead Customer Due Diligence/Onboarding Strategy for Business & Private Bank division at ANZ. Manage KYC onboarding requirements and build seamless banker and customer journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Customer Due Diligence/Onboarding Strategy team by managing end-to-end KYC/onboarding requirements
  • Execute on the Customer Due Diligence agenda for a seamless banker and customer journey
  • Define and implement optimal processes for financial crime and onboarding
  • Work with various enterprise programs and operations for a seamless view of current state
  • Build and deliver on strategic state and ongoing developments and maintenance

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Financial Crime and KYC regulatory landscape (AML, CTF, etc.)
  • Demonstrates a strong customer focus, consistently championing for better outcomes for customers through proactive risk management, service excellence, and ethical decision-making
  • A forward-thinker who envisions the broader landscape when dealing with the current landscape and/or limitations
  • Strong ability to drive practical application of financial crime policies and procedures with the banker and customer focus
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Extensive experience in risk, financial crime, fraud or remediation roles
