About the role

Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls from Business Banking customers regarding their Merchant Facility
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure customer retention
- Complete follow-up tasks that require outbound calls to Merchant Business Banking customers
- Manage complaints within required timeframes, policy and procedures
- Collaborate across channels to meet customer needs
- Contribute to a team culture that is balanced across people, customer, risk and performance
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures and external requirements
Requirements
- Previous Banking customer service/sales experience
- Experience within a contact centre environment or an operational/support role would be desirable
- High level computer literacy and navigation skills
- Experience in delivering high quality customer experience within required timeframes
- Demonstrated ability to use customer and commercial acumen to enhance performance across people, customer and risk measures
- Good problem solving and negotiation skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Self-motivated and enjoy contributing to a team environment
- Ability to work within a compliance environment
