Responsibilities
- Design and implement operational processes that make it easier for communicators to produce great comms, operate with more efficiency and ease, and scale with minimal friction
- Manage our team’s vendor relationships, including onboarding, contracting, POs and payments, tracking, and troubleshooting
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Policy, Product, Research) to align on communications operations and shared processes
- Serve as the administrator for our communications tools and platforms, and identify opportunities for automation
- Build and maintain systems that track and measure our team’s impact against our strategic goals; generate regular reports that inform our strategy
- Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively develop solutions, often with incomplete information
- Support rapid-response communications efforts by quickly mobilizing resources and coordinating across stakeholders
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in operations, program coordination, or a similar role
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong sense of urgency and can prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable building processes from scratch
- Proficient with project management and communications tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Slack)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Can work independently while also being a collaborative team player
- Adaptable and can shift priorities quickly as business needs evolve
