Responsibilities
- Participate in AI safety research and foster research talent
- Engage in mentorship and project selection process
- Work on empirical project aligned with research priorities
- Produce public output (e.g. paper submission)
- Collaborate with various mentors in AI safety research areas
Requirements
- Strong technical background in computer science, mathematics, physics, cybersecurity, or related fields
- Fluent in Python programming
- Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Available to work full-time on the Fellows program for 4 months
- Motivated by reducing catastrophic risks from advanced AI systems
- Excited to transition into full-time empirical AI safety research
