About the role
- Global Product Manager overseeing O-rings and molded parts for engineered sealing solutions. Driving product strategy across key industries from a hybrid office in Germany or other EU locations.
Responsibilities
- Own the global product strategy for O-rings and molded parts, targeting key industries and applications (e.g., drinking water, food & beverage, mobility, process industry).
- Lead assortment development: introduce new products, phase out underperforming SKUs, and anticipate future market needs
- Define value propositions, pricing logic, and competitive positioning through market research and analysis
- Drive cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Channel Managers
- Represent the product line in customer meetings and support sales teams with training and technical expertise
- Collaborate with suppliers and sourcing to ensure supply reliability and develop new manufacturing partnerships
- Support online channel growth by optimizing product content, article data and publication strategies
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, or business with strong technical orientation
- 5–10 years of experience in product management, ideally in elastomeric components, sealing systems, or industrial B2B markets
- Solid technical understanding of static sealing applications (using O-rings, molded elastomer parts) and materials (EPDM, FKM, NBR, etc.)
- Proven track record in portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and pricing
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong project management and communication skills
- Fluent in local language and English (spoken and written); additional languages (e.g. German, Italian, French) are a plus.
