About the role

  • System & Application Engineer at Anglian Water applying Systems Thinking to manage hydraulic systems performance metrics. Collaborating with teams and ensuring quality in OT data and telemetry management.

Responsibilities

  • Apply your Systems Thinking approach to build and visualise insights which describe the performance of our hydraulic systems.
  • Manage high quality OT data and a broad range of business metrics.
  • Develop business requirements and use tools such as SCADA, Datacore & Ignition.
  • Develop a tracking system to ensure all telemetry changes are captured and monitored.
  • Maintain great working relationships with stakeholders & other teams, providing knowledge & expertise when required.

Requirements

  • Educated to BTEC Higher Technical qualification or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of SCADA systems & the configuration processes
  • Knowledge & experience of Systems Thinking, performance metrics and Situational Awareness development
  • Knowledge & experience of low code app development
  • Knowledge of water network and supply operations
  • Excellent understanding of automation, control and telemetry requirements.
  • Proven track record of making changes to systems as required for project or programme delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Abilities to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Strong IT systems & application skills
