About the role
- Infrastructure & Security Engineer focusing on auditing and securing client environments post-transition. Assessing systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending improvements.
Responsibilities
- Perform a security and infrastructure audit to identify potential vulnerabilities, backdoors, or misconfigurations
- Review and strengthen identity and access management controls
- Evaluate and improve MFA and endpoint security configurations
- Assess existing networking infrastructure and recommend improvements
- Assist with remediation and hardening of systems across cloud and on-prem environments
- Document findings and provide recommendations to the internal IT team
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and security roles
- Experience working with Azure environments
- Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
- Strong networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and core network protocols
- Experience with VMware virtualization
- Experience implementing or managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management
- Experience with Ubiquiti networking infrastructure
- Familiarity with UniFi controllers and gateways
- Experience with security and monitoring tools such as: Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, Darktrace, Arctic Wolf
