About the role
- Senior Design Engineer for Hydro Generators at ANDRITZ designing and executing engineering projects in hydropower. Involves independent coordination of technical tasks and collaboration with teams.
Responsibilities
- Independently carry out technical projects in Engineering & Design
- Plan and control the technical implementation of projects
- Review and approve manufacturing drawings, bills of materials and technical specifications
- Conduct and facilitate design meetings and support technical clarifications with customers and internal departments
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation
- Handle quality deviations
- Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines (e.g., turbine, generator, etc.)
- Facilitate continuous knowledge transfer within the team
Requirements
- Completed technical education (HTL, university, or university of applied sciences)
- Several years of professional experience in design/engineering required
- Knowledge of generators is a clear advantage
- Experience with technical drafting
- Strong CAD skills, ideally with Siemens NX experience
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
- High level of initiative
- Strong communication skills
