About the role
- Project Manager ensuring successful execution of pump division projects at ANDRITZ in Graz. Collaborating with engineering, logistics, and supply chain teams for effective project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects in collaboration with the corresponding internal engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and logistics teams.
- Representation of the project to the customer, consulting engineer and consortium partners.
- Management of the project team.
- Coordinate internal functions and sub-suppliers.
- Cost controlling and forecasting.
- Ensure adequate submission and revision of all project documentation requirements.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties / vendors.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or similar.
- Five (5) years of professional experience as project manager.
- Knowledge in rotating equipment and / or pump industry is required.
- Engagement with all involved parties during the project execution.
- Proactive, analytical and results-driven working style.
- Good communication skills and capability of managing conflicts.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, is a must.
- Good German skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, SAP and project management software.
- Availability to travel around 25% of time.
