About the role
- Senior Frontend Engineer building interfaces on a gifting platform for a high-growth startup. Collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams to enhance gifting experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build web front-end that powers our clients’ products and services
- Collaborate closely with product, design and backend teams to build new features, drive technical direction, and build scalable web technology targeting the most modern browsers
- Development of impressive graphs, dashboards, visualisations etc. of user and logistics activity
- Aiming for continuous improvement and bringing that through in all aspects of your work
- Mentor and guide the work of others
Requirements
- 5+ years as a frontend/JavaScript/TypeScript engineer, with demonstrated capabilities to lead, mentor, and manage
- Significant experience with client-side frameworks, specifically React.js
- Experience building rich data-driven web applications, consuming information from APIs and dynamically filtering data sources
- Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- Experience working with visual designers in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched applications
- Great attention to detail when it comes to work with styling and UX and experience building and maintaining component libraries
- Advanced knowledge of modern web technologies and CSS techniques
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- The ability to rapidly prototype ideas into working code to assist in the design process
- Strong debugging and diagnostic skills
- Experience shipping large-scale web applications
