Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive policy communications strategies to promote our brand to policy audiences.
Communicate crypto messaging and key brand attributes for a policy audience in the US.
Lead a high impact policy communications function by collaborating closely with policy team and across marketing.
Influence and direct cross-functional project teams.
Provide day-to-day management of agency partners and mentor team members.
Develop/enhance processes for all policy communications activities.
Requirements
8+ years of policy communications, executive communications, thought leadership, media, crisis communications, and presentation best practices and strategy in blockchain, technology, fintech, or banking/investment sectors.
Proven ability to create, manage, and execute strategic communications plans that drive engagement and brand positioning with a policy audience.
Superb writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience in creating policy related content, such as thought leadership articles, white papers, press releases, etc.
Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
Deep knowledge of DC media, KOLs, and trade organizations, and media landscape with a proven track record of securing media coverage in beltway outlets.
Ability to build relationships with industry influencers and media.
Excellent cross functional project management skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be based in the D.C. area.
