About the role
- FP&A Analyst enhancing financial performance through analysis and strategic decision-making at AMBOSS. Support budgeting, forecasting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting process, regular forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Analyze financial performance against targets, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights
- Build financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business initiatives and support planning decisions
- Partner with business units and department leads to understand performance drivers and help align financial plans with operational goals
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making across the organization, acting as a reliable point of contact for finance-related topics
- Strengthen collaboration with stakeholders to improve financial transparency, information flow, and planning processes
Requirements
- A strong academic background in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in FP&A, business analytics, consulting, or a similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, unit economics, and common growth metrics
- Advanced spreadsheet skills (especially Google Sheets), including complex formulas, and confidence working with data; experience with BI tools, SQL, or planning/reporting systems is a plus
- An analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights that support decision-making
- Clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to explain financial topics to non-finance stakeholders
- A well-organized and reliable self-starter, able to proactively take ownership of tasks and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
