About the role

  • (Junior) Requirements Engineer supporting software development in a hybrid role at Agrarmarkt Austria. Responsibilities include documentation and quality assurance in agile settings.

Responsibilities

  • Elicitation, documentation, management and review of requirements engineering (RE) documents according to the IREB standard in an agile work environment
  • Conducting quality assurance (reviews) of RE documents
  • Acting as the communication hub between the business unit and our software development team
  • Proactively contributing ideas and improvement suggestions
  • Supporting the creation and refinement of objectives (according to SMART or PAM)
  • Long-term involvement throughout the entire lifecycle of our software products (new development, maintenance, …)

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in the IT field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Requirements Engineer or in a similar position
  • IREB and CPUX Foundation Level certifications
  • Strong technical understanding and logical thinking
  • Strong analytical skills and a goal- and solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with flexibility and empathy for different stakeholders
  • Very good German language skills
