About the role
- Senior Data Scientist responsible for developing models for banking optimization and analyzing large datasets. Collaborating with multiple teams to provide strategic insights and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Develop models to optimize banking and merchant acquiring processes.
- Analyze large volumes of transactional data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities to improve processes.
- Implement customer segmentation and behavior-prediction algorithms to increase efficiency and personalize the services offered.
- Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to define and implement data solutions that meet customer and company needs.
- Communicate complex insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to more junior members of the data science team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience analyzing large volumes of data to generate insights for business teams.
- Experience with data analysis and programming tools such as SQL, Python, R, or machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
- Ability to solve complex problems in a creative and innovative way.
- Knowledge of code versioning processes (Git, GitHub).
- Ability to translate business teams' questions and needs into actionable analysis requirements.
