About the role

  • Administrative role in central purchasing at ALS Germany. Supporting supplier management, communication, and international procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative function for the operational area of the internal ALS ordering platform ("WPS") in line with instructions
  • Creation and maintenance of supplier and user guides
  • General tasks in fleet management
  • Communication with customers and suppliers
  • Support of central, group-wide and decentralized, site-related purchasing
  • Support for international procurement transactions
  • Assistance with tenders

Requirements

  • Commercial vocational training, e.g. as Industrial Clerk, Wholesale and Foreign Trade Clerk (m/f/d), or equivalent professional experience or further qualifications
  • Experience in purchasing is an advantage
  • High degree of self-organization and a structured, conscientious working style
  • Assertiveness to meet the requirements of the work area combined with a service-oriented approach
  • Advanced IT skills (especially Microsoft Excel and industry-specific software)
  • Proficient German language skills for both social and professional use (at least C1 level in spoken and written)
  • Good English skills for international communication within the group
