About the role
- IT Manager overseeing cloud-first IT architecture and developing automation strategies. Collaborating externally to optimize IT infrastructure and workflows in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and further development of a future-proof IT, data and AI architecture (cloud-first)
- Co-develop an overarching automation and AI strategy
- Select and integrate innovative tools and platforms for AI-assisted workflows
- Build, administer and optimize the IT infrastructure (servers, network, cloud, endpoints)
- Implement and operate AI-driven automation flows (e.g., n8n, Zapier, LangChain, RAG)
- Setup, configuration and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with external partners on specialist topics, e.g., cloud, security or support
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in IT management or system administration
- Enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, automation and modern software stacks
- Experience with cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and API-based integrations
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.)
- Understanding of data management and initial exposure to AI frameworks
- Analytical thinking, strong conceptual skills and an independent, solution-oriented working style
- Good written and spoken German
