About the role
- Project Manager in Building Contaminants area at WESSLING Consulting Engineering. Responsible for managing client projects, assessing buildings for contaminants and overseeing clean-up plans.
Responsibilities
- Independent management and leadership of client projects
- Inspection and investigation of buildings for contaminants (e.g., asbestos, mineral wool (KMF), PCBs and PAHs)
- Preparation of proposals, investigation concepts, specifications/scopes of work and expert reports in the field of building contaminants
- Planning contaminant remediation measures and providing construction management/site supervision during implementation
- Maintaining and developing business relationships with our clients
- Measurement verification, invoice and change-order reviews as part of site management
Requirements
- University degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, geosciences, natural sciences or a comparable field, or equivalent further qualifications
- Several years of relevant professional experience or project experience in the described areas

- Strong organisational and communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Interest and experience in client support and business development (client acquisition)
- German language skills: at least C1 level spoken and written (professional proficiency in both social and work contexts)
