About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead and further develop the department at the site
- Manage projects in the area of building contaminants (contaminant investigations, remediation planning, specialist site management)
- Prepare expert reports and statements and perform plausibility checks of investigation data, reports, expert opinions, and plans (including co-signature of expert reports)
- Provide on-site client support and consulting
- Regularly review project and client development, with revenue and performance responsibility for the department
- Coordinate with technical sales to define sales activities and targets
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, Environmental Engineering (m/f/d) or equivalent, with practical experience in the tasks described
- Knowledge of relevant standards and technical regulations (VDI 4300 series, VDI 6202, DIN ISO 16000, TRGS 519, 521, 524)
- Entrepreneurial mindset; results- and cost-oriented approach; proactive and goal-oriented working style
- Confident and professional interaction with clients and employees
- Initiative, commitment, and reliability
- Willingness to travel and a valid Class B driving license
