Responsibilities
Independent processing of all business transactions: You are responsible for accurate and timely postings and ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly
Account reconciliation and maintenance: You handle account reconciliations and maintenance, ensure the accuracy of postings, and resolve any discrepancies independently
Payment processing: You monitor payment deadlines and discount periods and prepare supplier payment runs
Branch support: You support our branch operations on accounts payable matters and communicate with local contacts
Participation in preparing monthly and annual financial statements: You actively contribute to the preparation of financial statements and, through your precise work, help ensure reliable financial reporting
Project work: You will have the opportunity to participate in process optimization initiatives and projects within accounts payable
Requirements
You have successfully completed commercial/vocational training
You have practical experience in accounting
You are familiar with accounting systems; knowledge of SAP is an advantage
You work independently, set high standards for your work, are a team player and maintain an overview even during time-critical periods (e.g. month-end closing)
You have very good German language skills (at least C1 level) and good MS Office skills
