About the role
- Senior Software Engineer focusing on C++ for a leading technology group in Stuttgart. Designing software architecture, developing applications, and managing data architecture in a hybrid setup.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend and API architectures (e.g., REST, gRPC)
- Develop complex, data-intensive applications using modern C++ frameworks, ensuring performance and stability
- Own the data architecture: model data structures and manage SQL and NoSQL databases
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the entire technology stack and drive technical decisions
- Serve as a technical point of contact for the team, share knowledge, and promote best practices in software design and clean code
Requirements
- Strong experience developing edge applications in C++
- Several years of experience architecting and developing distributed, cloud-native systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ideally, experience with a modern backend language such as Python or Go
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
