Responsibilities
- Prepare procedural deadlines and initial pleadings, ensuring proper case organization and compliance with legal requirements.
- Monitor and track procedural deadlines, ensuring the correct progress of matters.
- Review legal documents, identifying information relevant to cases.
- Organize documents and procedural filings to ensure proper preparation of the case record.
- Conduct case-law research to support the legal basis of pleadings.
Requirements
- Active OAB license in good standing (Brazilian Bar Association).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience handling judicial and administrative proceedings, including drafting pleadings, defining legal strategies, and strict deadline management.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in deadline management, with a focus on the technical quality of deliverables.
- Proficiency with legal tools, case management software, and court systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, providing technical, consultative, and strategic client support.
- Knowledge and practice in Medical Law, familiar with health regulations, medical liability, hospital contracts, and regulatory aspects.
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Law is desirable, as well as in Civil Law and/or Civil Procedure, with a focus on practical application.
